About this Event

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Kickstand! We're excited to have you join us. Please sign up if you can commit to a few shifts in the coming months.

Important information before you register to volunteer:

• As we're a completely All-Volunteer Run shop, it's important to us that we orient community members who are willing to commit to a couple shifts straight after their orientation. We believe it gives our team the best start and increases the likelihood of us developing a continued relationship with you. Please only sign up if you are sure you can commit to a few shifts over the next few months.

  It's essential to us that all of our Volunteers are committed to upholidng our Safer Spaces agreement and the Values, Vision and Mission of Kickstand.

Breakdown of the orientation:

The first hour of the orientation will be run by current volunteers and they will give you an overview of Kickstand and what volunteering entails.

The second portion will be approximately an hour of hands-on volunteering with guidance from some of our volunteers. As the shop has general grease on things, if possible, wear clothing that you might not mind getting dirty. We also have aprons!
