Summer Youth Committee - For Ages 15-19
About this Event
Calling teens aged 15-19! Join our fun, free, weekly Youth Committee this summer. Help to create the annual Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival and engage in creative activities and nature stewardship. You'll even receive a certificate for volunteer hours for your time!
This year's Youth Committee activities will include helping to build a giant puppet, using natural dyes, making ecoart, and stewardship at the Renfrew Ravine.
We'll will meet every Tuesday evening from 6-9 PM, from July 7 to August 25.
Most meetings will be at the Dye Garden in Renfrew Ravine Park (Renfrew & 24th).
It's ok to miss a session or two, but the experince is best if you are there at most sessions, since the activites at each session build on what you've done before.

The Still Moon Youth Committee has been active for over 10 years, helping behind the scenes to create the Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival, a beloved community tradition for over 20 years!

What to expect
- We will provide light snacks, fruit snacks and granola bars, as well as some beverages, such as juice or Bubly.
- Please bring a full water bottle to stay hydrated.
- Still Moon will provide all tools and supplies.
- Most meetings take place outside, so please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.
