July This is Me Teen Empowerment Event (Healthy Boundaries Topic)

Want to give your child a few extra tools for navigating friendships, peer pressure, and growing up?
That's exactly what we're doing at our July This Is Me event.
What is “This is Me”?
“This is Me” is a program dedicated to fostering self-esteem, confidence, and mental well-being among young people. It’s a place where your child can be themselves without the pressures of social media, school, or societal expectations. Through a combination of free photo sessions, guest speakers, and interactive activities, we help each participant recognize their worth and celebrate their individuality.
Every child receives guided portrait coaching because confidence isn't something kids magically develop, it's something they practice. Our goal is to help them see the amazing person everyone else already sees. You will receive one digital image and 1 5X7 print of that image.
This is a community event but we do ask for a nominal fee of $30 per event to help cover food, portrait prints, and an intern to assist.
We'll be joined by therapist Jon Taylor, who will help kids learn about healthy boundaries, self-respect, and how to confidently speak up for themselves.
Add in food, drinks, a fun group of kids, and a portrait experience designed to help them see themselves in a positive new way, and you've got a pretty amazing evening.
Designed for ages 11-14 but older teens are welcome and usually love it.
