We've got just the thing. Every month, something special happens down at The Incubator Creative Hub in the Historic Village – and on the 31st, we're doing it all over again. Think live music, great company, a licensed bar, and delicious grazing platters from our friends at Gate Pa New World – all wrapped around brilliant new exhibitions. It's the perfect way to beat those winter blues and connect with Tauranga's thriving art scene.
This month's line-up is a treat: fresh work from students taking their first steps into the gallery world, alongside seasoned professionals whose work will stop you in your tracks. From emerging talent to masterful craft, there's genuinely something for everyone.

🖼️ The People's Gallery – Toi ka Rere: Ōtūmoetai College Junior Art Exhibition
Year 9 and 10 students showcase their work in this sixth-annual collaboration with The Incubator. It's a wonderful chance to see fresh young talent and support the next generation of artists.
🎨 The Incubator Gallery – Just Bring Yourselves by Jennie Holdsworth
A quietly beautiful series of mixed media paintings exploring domestic interiors – chairs, vessels, and lamps in warm, muted tones. Through paint, collage, and layered surfaces, Jennie reflects on warmth, welcome, and the spaces we return to.
🖼️ The Artist Window Gallery – New Works Launch
A wave of fresh creativity is landing with over 40 incredible artists – a vibrant mix of painters, sculptors, printmakers, jewellers, and carvers. From contemporary paintings to exquisite bone and pāua jewellery, Māori toi, and handcrafted treasures, there's something to captivate every eye.
🖨️ Imprint Gallery - A perfectly proportioned pocket-sized punch from a trio of printmaker studio artists. Intimate, original, and always impressive.
