Saxophonist Julian Smith brings his band for an evening of live music at Evesham Town Hall.Since being placed as runner-up to Susan Boyle & Diversity on the 2009 series of Britain’s Got Talent, when 20 million people watched the final, Julian has consistently performed to adoring audiences all around the world.
Over the years, Julian Smith has gained a significant fan base and online following boasting more than 10,000 followers on Facebook as well as amassing millions of views on YouTube.
The tour will celebrate Julian’s new album “Being With You” which features stunning new co-writes with top songwriter and record producer Glenn Keiles mixed with beautifully arranged covers. The album also showcases Julian’s vocals on both “California Dreamin'” and “Fields of Gold”.The album includes the classic Turkish 1980’s rock song “Donence” featurng Ahmet Guven on Bass Guitar (who is the co-writer of the original version) & Sibel Tuzun whoare both prominent musical figures in their native Turkey. Sibel brings her haunting Turkish vocals to this new version which both Julian and Sibel have now made their own.
