THE BATTLE OF EVESHAM FESTIVAL PRESENTS2-3 August 2025
Battle of Evesham 760th Anniversary Festival is proud to present one of England’s favourite Knights, Sir Tony Robinson, who will be giving a lively talk titled ‘A Cunning History’ which will be both educational and entertaining.
Known around the World as Baldrick in Blackadder and from 1994 Tony fronted Time Team which cemented his love of history, leading to many acclaimed programmes, and is currently hosting the popular ‘Cunningcast’.
Tony has agreed to be the headline speaker in our new presentation marquee, as one of six medieval themed speakers, consisting of some of the foremost academics and authors focussing on the medieval period.
Also in the marquee, The Film Orchestra will bring a 40-piece ensemble to perform music from medieval themed movies and the small screen, then the evenings will be full of high energy music.
