The Jr. Smackdown returns after a 2 year break with a new format. This event is exactly like the Smackdowns held at OCSC and Adams archery which attract the top shooters from the sate of Michigan to battle it out. Each Participant will shoot a Vegas 300 round in qualification. We will flight the participants into groups of 12 and shoot elimination rounds. (Ex. Flight 1 would be positions 1-12, Flight 2 Positions 13-24)Each flight must have a minimum of 3 participants. Bottom 3 of division shoot for Lucky Dog to make the cut. Only 1 advances into the flights, no matter what the # of participants. (So if a division has twelve, the bottom 3 shoot for Lucky dag and the division will have only 10 in the flight.) Lucky dog wins $5.
Top qualifier wins 10% of the pot.
Round 1 cuts 25% of the field (Flight of 12 cuts 3), Round 2 cuts 25% of the field (Flight of 12 cuts 3), Round 3 cuts 25% of field (Flight of 12 cuts 3, smaller flights will only cut # of archers that leaves us with 3 for next round), Round 4 cuts 1, Round of 5 cuts 1.
1st Flight Winner 50% of remaining pot, 2nd place 25% of remaining pot, 3rd place 15% of remaining pot. 2nd Flight winner 10% of remaining pot.
$15 of each entry goes into pot, $5 goes to RPA to cover material costs.

Age division is determined by the participants age on the day of the event.
