A community gathering for shared presence & soul remembrance. Hosted by singer songwriter Andrea Rose.
Journey into the Heart was born out of a desire to bring a musical offering that lives outside of the lines of a traditional concert, but rather as a merging of two worlds: the artist and the audience. The artist creates not only to express, but to connect the threads of our mutual human experience. Andrea dissolves the gap between spectator and musician, and creates a meeting place through intentional connection and reciprocity: a collective, heart-centered musical encounter.
The evening will unfold as a shared journey, beginning with an invitation to arrive, connect, and name what has brought each person into the space. We’ll move into a practice of presence before entering into the music - listening not only to the songs, but to what they stir within us. Moments of quiet and reflection will create a space for whatever wants to emerge, with the option to share, write, or simply be with the experience. We’ll close the evening with a chance to gather and reflect, followed by light refreshments and an opportunity to continue the conversation together.
This event is by donation, with a suggested contribution of $30 - $50. To confirm your spot, please send an e-transfer to [email protected], or let us know if you will be bringing cash on the evening of the event.
