Nicola Brettell-Smith founder of Soulful Wisdom Academy and Suzanne York the New Forest Mystic invite you into a gentle pilgrimage day of remembrance, embodiment, and connection with the living landscape of Avalon.
Have you ever felt drawn to Glastonbury in a way that feels deeper than interest or curiosity?
Have you sensed that certain places hold memory, not just history, but something your body recognises before your mind can explain it?
Journey into Avalon: The Apple & the Rose is a one-day immersive pilgrimage designed to reconnect you with the wisdom of the land through direct, sensory experience. This is not a workshop about Avalon, it is an invitation to walk with it, feel it, and listen.
The Apple and the Rose are not used here as symbols to analyse, but as living allies woven into the landscape itself.
The Apple carries the energy of rebirth, renewal, and return. Hidden within its heart is the star a reminder of sacred geometry, the pentagram, and the timeless pattern of life unfolding again and again. The apple speaks of what is ready to come into form, what is ripening, and what seeks to be brought into fruition.
The Rose carries the wisdom of the spiral, the spiral of the Tor, the spiral of Venus, and the spiral within the heart itself. It invites opening, softening, and remembrance through love rather than effort. The rose does not rush; it reveals. Petal by petal, it draws you into deeper presence and connection with what already lives within you.
Together, the Apple and the Rose form a living gateway into Avalon, one of rebirth and heart-led remembering.
About the Day
We will meet close to Chalice Well and walk pilgrimage-style through some of Glastonbury’s most sacred and quietly powerful places. The pace will be gentle and inclusive, we will only ever walk as fast as the slowest person.
Our journey will take us past the White and Red Springs, where you are invited to bring a bottle if you would like to collect your own water for the day. From there, we will walk in conscious relationship with the land, eventually making our way up Glastonbury Tor, before descending into the apple orchard, where the Apple and Rose teachings are woven together.
Throughout the day, Nicola and Suzanne will hold a grounded, ceremonial space that supports presence rather than performance, listening rather than striving.
This is a day of attunement, not effort.

Spaces are intentionally limited to keep the group held, spacious, and respectful of the land.
