The story of jazz is filled with many chapters on the masters of the tenor saxophone. Distinct voices such as Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, Joe Henderson, and Wayne Shorter paved the way for many of the rapid change and musical innovations that flowed from the middle of last century until the current day. Their sounds live on through their recordings and their musical ideas are distilled in their compositions.Join Joshua Hatcher (tenor saxophone), Steve Newcomb (piano), Nick Quigley (bass) and Aaron Jansz (drums) as they pay tribute to these masters of the tenor through their music.
