The Program:
Haydn’s "Nelson Mass": A work of intense drama and urgency. From thundering trumpets to soaring choral passages, this "Mass in Troubled Times" is Haydn’s most powerful composition.
Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de confessore: A sublime contrast of elegance and light, featuring the famous, ethereal Laudate Dominum.
Led by Dr. Robert Stewart, the Queensland Choir is joined by a professional orchestra and esteemed soloists to take you on a journey from the turbulence of the "Storm" to the divine "Splendour" of the classics.
