The Town of Jonesborough will host its annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 19th, from 12 to 3 p.m. in Downtown Jonesborough at the International Storytelling Center, Jimmy Neil Smith Park, Jonesborough Central Christian Church, and The Christopher Taylor House.This year’s event will include photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting, children's crafts, an Officer K-9 meet-and-greet, Touch-a-Truck, and the Funny Farm Animal Experience.
The egg hunt will take place in Jimmy Neil Smith Park, where children ages 12 and under can search for over 5,000 candy—and toy-filled eggs. To ensure a fun and fair experience for everyone, the egg hunt will be divided into four age groups: 2 and under, 3 to 5, 6 to 8, and 9 to 12.
In addition, the Jonesborough Parks & Recreation Department will host its first-ever Sensory Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19th, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Lincoln Park, behind the Jonesborough Senior Center, following the Easter Eggstravaganza in Downtown Jonesborough. This inclusive event is designed for individuals of all ages with disabilities or those who benefit from a calmer, slower-paced environment.
