JOLSHIRI RUNBANGLA MARATHON 2026

Welcome to The Oldest AIMS race in Bangladesh!
After completion of 3 successful Half Marathons over last 2 years at the beautiful Jolshiri Abashon area, RUNBANGLA brings you a full Marathon at the same picturesque location. The beautiful Jolshiri Abashon area, Rupganj is a 30 minutes’ drive from Gulshan 2 circle, a housing society for military officers and managed by Bangladesh Army.
Your running track will consist of a well-connected road network with a view full of greens and lakes. This race would be a collaboration between Jolshiri Abashon authority and RUNBANGLA. In RUNBANGLA, we always strive to improve, reorganize and deliver better to the runners.
The Race will have four categories of run.

**General Category (18 yrs to 44 Yrs)
Male and Female Champion, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Runners up will

• Champion: 30,000/- BDT (Thirty Thousand Taka)
• 1st Runner Up: 20,000/- BDT (Twenty Thousand Taka)
• 2nd Runner Up: 18,000/- BDT (Eighteen Thousand Taka)
• 3rd Runner Up: 15,000/- BDT (Fifteen Thousand Taka)
**Age Category (45 yrs to 59 Yrs)
Male and Female champion, 1st runner up will receive Prize money
• Champion: 10,000/- BDT (Ten Thousand Taka)
• 1st Runner Up: 8,000/- BDT (Eight Thousand Taka)
**Age Category (60 Yrs and above)
Only the Male and Female Champion will receive Prize money

All standard support provided to runners during a running event- will be ensured
A shuttle bus service for runners will be available on the race day Kuril Bus stand – Jolshiri route and vice versa. Interested Runners will have to pay 50 BDT for availing the service.
II This is a running event open for all athletes (professionals and amateur). Please register accordingly.

• During registration process, shuttle service (Kuril Bus stand to Jolshiri) will be optional. Anyone ticking YES option will be charged 50 BDT for availing the service.

Official Rules and Regulations
1. Registration Terms and Eligibility
• Binding Agreement: Submission of the online registration form constitutes formal acknowledgement and legally binding acceptance of all Rules and Regulations.
• Entry Restrictions: Each unique email address permits only one registrant. Violation of this policy shall result in the withholding of race kits and immediate disqualification.
• Financial Policy: All registration fees are strictly non-refundable. Participant unique IDs and entries are non-transferable under any circumstances.
• Quota Authority: The Race Organizer reserves the absolute right to close registration prior to the deadline if event quotas are fulfilled.
• Data Integrity: Participants must provide true, accurate, and current information. Any age or qualification discrepancies found pre- or post-race will result in disqualification.
2. Bib Numbers and Timing Protocols
• Mandatory Display: The assigned bib number must be securely fastened to the front of the runner's torso and remain clearly visible at all times.
• Transfer Ban: Sale, duplication, or transfer of a race bib is strictly prohibited. Violation will result in immediate disqualification and a permanent ban from all future events.
• Timing and Checkpoints: Runners must wear the provided electronic timing chip. Missing any designated course checkpoints or failing to follow the official route will trigger automatic disqualification.
• Punctuality: Participants must start precisely at their designated official start times. Late starts are strictly prohibited.
3. Course Conduct and Restrictions
• Prohibited Behavior: Unsportsmanlike conduct, including but not limited to blocking or obstructing other participants, will result in immediate expulsion from the course.
• Strict Exclusions: No pets of any kind, unauthorized vehicles (including bicycles and motorcycles), or unregistered escort runners are permitted on the course.
• Official Compliance: Participants must strictly obey all instructions from race officials. Failure to comply will result in immediate disqualification.
• Attire: Participants must wear appropriate athletic attire. Clothing deemed offensive or inappropriate by the organizer is strictly forbidden.
4. Results, Awards, and Media Rights
• Time Limits: The official time calculation is the sole authority of the Race Organizer. Participants must fulfill the required Cut-Off Times.
• Medals and Certificates: Participation medals are strictly contingent upon crossing the entire official distance. Electronic certificates will only be issued to those finishing within the official cut-off time limits.
• Media Release: Participants grant the Race Organizer exclusive, worldwide rights to use their name, likeness, and biography across all media platforms for promotional purposes.
• Policy Amendments: The Race Organizer reserves the right to modify these Rules and Regulations at its sole discretion without prior notice.
