The Department of Fire Service & Civil Defence, Bangladesh proudly introduces the inaugural FIRE INTERNATIONAL MARATHON 102, 2026 a world-class road race bringing together students, youth, veterans, international athletes, and fitness enthusiasts from all walks of life. Leveraging decades of discipline, public service, and operational excellence, the Department of Fire Service & Civil Defence is stepping into the global running community to host a celebration of fitness, endurance, courage and unity.

The number 102 is more than a number it represents the emergency hotline of Bangladesh’s Fire Service & Civil Defence. Every stride in this marathon honors the bravery, selfless service and lifesaving commitment of our first responders and firefighters.
This is more than a race; it is a movement to celebrate resilience, honor bravery and promote an active lifestyle!

Set along the spectacular, well-connected Purbachal 300 Feet Highway, Dhaka, runners will navigate a scenic and dynamic route featuring modern infrastructure and multiple bridges, offering an exhilarating blend of beauty and endurance.

IMPORTANT PARTICIPANT INFORMATION:
• The event is a live, physical road-running event. No virtual-run option is available.
• Finisher medals will be awarded to participants who complete their respective race within the official cut-off time.
• BIB transfer is not permitted.
• Registration fees are non-refundable.
• In unforeseen circumstances, the event date may be changed. Registration fees will not be refunded in such circumstances.
• The race schedule may be modified because of weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
• Participants with existing physical conditions that may affect their ability to participate should obtain appropriate medical clearance before taking part.
• Participants are responsible for assessing their own fitness and readiness for the race.
• The organizers will provide reasonable medical and safety support during the event; however, participation in road running involves inherent physical risks.
