About this Event

Registration Information – Please Read.

Two separate registrations are required if you plan to attend both the VIP Luncheon and the Sushi & Sake Sail. Registering for one event does not register you for the other.

VIP Luncheon

Women in World Trade New England members must register through our Eventbrite page so we can provide an accurate headcount to the Japan America Society.

Sushi & Sake Sail

The Sushi & Sake Sail requires a separate ticket purchase through the Japan America Society.

Please purchase your sail ticket as soon as possible. The Schooner Aurora has a capacity of only 60 passengers, the event is open to the public, and tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

Additional Information

Attendance at the Opening Ceremony is encouraged but not required to participate in the luncheon or the Sushi & Sake Sail however highly recommend as it provides valuable insight into the history of the Black Ships Festival, the mission of the Japan America Society, and the significance of this annual celebration.

Rockwell Park in Bristol and Goat Island in Newport are approximately 25 to 30 minutes apart. Parking is available in Bristol, and if enough members are attending, we will coordinate carpools or ride-sharing between the two locations.
