On September 12, 2026, our community will come together at Riverfront Park for the Spokane Out of the Darkness Walk, hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). This powerful event raises awareness, honors lives lost, supports survivors, and helps fund suicide prevention education, advocacy, research, and support programs.
This walk is especially meaningful because the Spokane walk is back, and our community needs it now more than ever. Suicide, mental health struggles, grief, and loss have touched far too many families. By showing up, we send a message that no one has to walk through the darkness alone.
