You are invited to a free taster session of the London City Chorus, followed by a free social and drinks with choir members to talk to choir members and find out more about our choir.

Join City Chorus in singing a wide variety of music, in preparation for a concert in December. City Chorus's autumn music programme includes beautiful sacred settings by Bach, Grieg, and Stanford; exciting new works by contemporary composers Dobrinka Tabakova and Becky McGlade; and, looking ahead to the end of the year, a selection of lighter seasonal songs.

City Chorus is a friendly, inclusive, hard-working choir, open to all with no audition. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings in the city and perform several times a year in beautiful venues.

Our musical director is Paul Ayres and our accompanist (piano and organ) is Philip Shannon. Our concerts feature top professional musicians.

We are looking for new singers.

Some choral singing experience and music reading ability is advantageous, but not essential. All works are thoroughly rehearsed and sound files are available to help you learn the music. There is no requirement to sing solo. We invite anyone to experience the joy that singing and performing can bring, in a friendly and supportive environment.

Come and try it out to experience it yourself with no obligation to commit to the whole term.
