Johnstown PRIDE News! The spirit of celebration, inclusion, and music will fill downtown Johnstown on Saturday, August 22, as the city’s annual PRIDE event returns. This is our 27th year serving the community with Pride.
Johnstown PRIDE will kick off at noon and run through 8:00 p.m., bringing a vibrant festival atmosphere in and around the Frank J Pasquerilla Conference Center. The celebration will include live performances, local vendors, food trucks, drag shows, family-friendly activities, and a strong show of solidarity for the region’s LGBTQ+ community.
If you are interested in being a vendor or volunteering your talents to entertain, please contact John DeBartola on Facebook or at 814-421-8000 or Philip Bayush on Facebook or at 814-243-6949. There is no charge to be a vendor. If you sell anything, you will need to obtain a $20 permit from the city of Johnstown.
Attendees travel from across Cambria County and surrounding areas to celebrate love, identity, and community. Local businesses and organizations are also joining in the festivities, offering support and partnership to ensure the event’s success.
Whether you’re coming for the live music, the parade of colors, or just to stand in support, Johnstown PRIDE promises a day of joy, acceptance, and unforgettable memories.
Admission to the festival is free and open to all ages.
