Award-winning artist of the 20-stringed Hindustani slide guitar, Joel Veena, presents 'Ragas & Sagas' - a special concert featuring traditional ragas, original compositions, alongside fascinating tales from the lore of Hindustani music. He is joined at India Habitat Centre by brilliant tabla artist, Suraj Nirwan; a masterful exponent of the Delhi Gharana, celebrated teacher, songwriter, and son of tabla maestro Pt. Subhash Nirwan. These two have a long history of collaboration, having recorded together for two of Joel's albums: Unexpected Blessings (2017) and Milap (2019) and this special performance at IHC is an opportunity for audiences to hear the singular chemistry of these two artists.The concert is FREE and all are welcome.
