Morcheeba alum, Jody Sternberg and Paris Combo co-founder, David Lewis, are back in Australia with another eclectic menu of songs, exploring the rich and enduring dialogue between French chanson and ‘le jazz’.Together with Russell Holmes at the piano they offer their unique takes on the songs of such iconic figures as Michel Legrand, Charles Trenet and Serge Gainsbourg, with Lewis’ melodic, colourful trumpet and flugelhorn interweaving with Sternberg’s warm voice and feeling for lyric, playfully mixing languages and musical styles.
