We are very excited for inspiring filmmaker, charity founder and activist Jo Ruxton MBE to be holding a talk at the distillery this October.
Join us for 'Caring is the Solution to the Climate Crisis', as Jo shares her story of one woman’s determination to bring one of our planet’s biggest environmental catastrophes to the big screen.
Jo is a leading voice in ocean conservation and the founder of Ocean Generation (UK Charity No. 1139843), a global movement restoring humanity’s relationship with the Ocean. She spent many years at the BBC Natural History Unit - contributing to the Blue Planet production team - before dedicating seven years to producing A Plastic Ocean, a powerful documentary filmed in 20 countries. Sir David Attenborough called it “one of the most important films of our time.”
£9.50 of each ticket goes directly to Ocean Generation.
The doors will be open at 6pm for drinks and bar snacks - Jo will start at 7pm.
