About this Event
This September, the spirit of the "greatest literary show on Earth" returns for the tenth time to Colorado this coming September 14-15! The Jaipur Literature Festival is an internationally renowned literary phenomenon, the largest literary festival in the world. One of the key international homes of the Jaipur Literature Festival in the West is ---- JLF Colorado!! JLF Colorado embodies the passion of this great, iconic Festival that has inspired over 200 literature festivals to develop in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Australia!
A festival of literature from all over the world, JLF at Colorado is an event unlike any other. Free and accessible to everyone, the Festival invites you to join us in examining the human experience through the reflections and imaginations of distinguished contemporary authors from across the globe.
The multi-dimensional festival program of JLF Colorado curates conversations with brilliant thinkers from the US and around the world on structural racism; equity; climate change; gun control; culture; LGBTQIA; women; civil rights; economy; science; tech; disinformation; medicine; and more.
**Tickets: Bringing JLF Colorado to Boulder depends upon your support. We need your help so that we can continue to bring the world renowned, and exceptional JLF Colorado to Boulder. You can help JLF Colorado simply by registering at the Friend of Festival or Delegate levels. If this is prohibitive we welcome you to register for Free General Admission. A few updates for you:
~Assisted listening devices for the Canyon Theater or the Skyscapse Venues are available on a first come first serve basis from the Library Accounts Desk, on the righ side, just inside the Arapahoe entrance to the Library. You will need to leave your Driver License (or other official form of ID) in order to check out a device.
~FOOD available at the Library:
**Scrumptious lunches and snacks will be available for sale Saturday and Sunday from Jaipur Restaurant in the lobby of the Library south entrance and in the Casa de Tonantzin library cafe in 3pm. Coffee, tea, chai available as well.
