About this Event
JKS Presents: Mind Matters
To mark World Mental Health Day 2024, we bring together individuals from across the hospitality industry and JKS Restaurants, as well as Tobie-Anna, Founder of Kelly’s Cause. Across a series of workshops and discussions, they will offer perspectives on the industry, reflections on their personal journeys, as well as practical support available to those in need. All ticket sales will go to Kelly’s Cause: the leading provider of Mental Health First Aid training and mental health services to the hospitality industry.
Date: Monday 21st October 2024
Location: The Crystal Ballroom at The May Fair Hotel, Stratton St, London, W1J 8LT
Please note, this discussion may include distressing or triggering themes, relating to self-harm, suicidal ideation and mental illness.
The afternoon will take the following format:
A mindfulness workshop led by Aisha Nash.
The first panel will bring together experts from across London’s hospitality sector, offering perspectives on the industry. Chaired by George Gill from CODE Hospitality, speakers include Tobie-Anna Durk (Kelly’s Cause), Brendan Kelly (Parents in Hospitality) and Michelle Righini (We Recover Loudly).
The second panel discussion will hone in on mental health and wellbeing across JKS Restaurants, bringing together individuals from across the business, with representation from different hospitality functions.
