Join this Belly Dance Party and Performance with South Dakota's local performance troupe Sultry Shimmy and dance school Sisters Dance Tribe.
More than just a performance, a Hafla a community gathering where everyone is part of the party. Our dancers are working hard to put on performances that will keep you captivated, get you out of your seats and moving, and make you want to come back for more!
We dance in a style of Belly Dance called Fusion, where we take inspiration from the middle eastern tradition of music and belly dance and then make it our own with music and movements that inspire us.
Come see the experienced performers of Sultry Shimmy as they show off their original choreographies. Support the students from Sisters Dance Tribe as they make their stage debut. Find joy and community as we all come together for this first ever collaboration where dancers and audience celebrate our unique creative joy.
Our performance is Saturday, December 14 at the Elks Club and Golf Course at 3333 Jolly Lane, Rapid City, SD, 57701.
We will start with our Christmas themed dance party at 7:30 so come in time to get a bit of dancing and order a drink at the bar upstairs. We will begin the stage show at 8 and expect it to go about 2 hours with a 10 minute intermission.
Tickets are 10$ each. We are -only- selling tickets at the door and will be accepting cash or check.
