Concert presented in association with Chamber Music NZ
The concert explores how composers from different times and cultures paint their worlds in sound. Works by NZ composers (Lilburn, Fisher, Farr, Whitehead, Ritchie and Farquhar) are contrasted with those of Chinese composers. The journey begins with landscapes and turns to childhood and memory.
Jian is Deputy Head of School, Associate Professor, and Head of Piano Studies at Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music, Victoria University of Wellington. He has played chamber music for us many times.
Bookings:
Postal, email, Eventfinda, door sales … more information at www.sundayconcerts.org.nz
