About this Event

A walk with Norwich tour guide, Paul Dickson, looking at the story Jenny Lind Hospital. The tour covers Jenny Lind's concerts in Norwich in 1847 and 1849 and the foundation of the Jenny Lind Hospital; and includes visits to the old Bishop's Palace where Jenny Lind stayed (courtesy of Norwich School) and Norwich Cathedral to view the memorial window to Bishop Stanley, who was Jenny Lind's host. We will also pause outside St Andrew's Hall where Jenny Lind sang, go past the site of the Jenny Lind pub and will finish near the site of the original Jenny Lind Hospital.
