Jenna McClelland is a powerhouse songwriter and performer from Mobile, AL, carrying forward the musical legacy of her father, Billy Earl McClelland—whose credits include Hank Williams Jr., Waylon Jennings, and Jerry Jeff Walker. With music in her blood, Jenna cut her teeth in Tennessee, moving from small bars to ticketed showcases and opening slots that highlighted her signature ability to transform familiar songs into something refreshingly her own. Her move to Nashville in 2016 led her onto iconic stages such as Exit/In, The Basement East, and Whiskey Jam, where she shared bills with respected acts like Them Vibes, Ben de la Cour, and Blue Mother Tupelo, solidifying her as both a gifted songwriter and an electric live performer.
Her story took another leap in 2022 when platinum-selling artist Elvie Shane personally invited her to join his touring band as a backup vocalist.
