We are proud and excited to have Jemima back at Missouri Star where she will be teaching her machine applique project Tuscan Trellis.
About this Event

Meet Jemima Flendt, designer, author, and educator who is the creative force behind Tied with a Ribbon. While Jemima has grown up to love and be inspired by all things fabric, textiles, buttons, ribbons and embellishments, she is known for her modern, vibrant quilt, sewing, and crochet designs. With a background in teaching and three published books, she empowers makers of all levels to create with confidence and joy.
We are proud and excited to have Jemima back at Missouri Star where she will be teaching Tuscan Trellis, a machine applique project. The pattern and templates will be included in your registrationn price. The class will be taught on both Wednesday and Thursday, but you will also have the opportunity to participate in special activities and lots of free time for shopping and sewing.
Once you have made your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with additional information.

What to Expect From MSQC:
Sleeping Rooms - 10 rooms are upstairs and are shared - there are no private rooms available and a chair lift is available for assistance. There are two ADA rooms available upon request.
Meals -
For Early Bird Arrivals:
Monday evening: A light dinner will be served.
Tuesday morning: Enjoy a continental breakfast.
For All Guests:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: Continental breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served.
Friday morning: A hot farewell breakfast awaits before your departure!
Snacks - We set out a snack table - because sewing definitely makes us all snack-y. We provide light snacks for the group but if there is something particular you crave, feel free to bring it.
Sewing Table Seating - We do have assigned seating for the well-lit 4' sewing tables (personal sewing lamps are optional). If you are traveling with a friend or friends and would like to sit together - no problem! Please just indicate this on your registration form with the names of the people you wish to sit by. We also provide cutting/ironing tables, and power strips and small side tables.
Sewing Machines -
Feel free to bring your own machine (and all cords!).
Alternatively, reserve one of our machines for the duration of your stay, free of charge.
If you need a machine, please indicate this on your registration form.
We know things happen, but if for some reason you need to cancel after you have booked your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible. The retreat is only fully refundable 60 days in advance of the start date. In the event that you are past the 60-day notice and are unable to attend, you may transfer your reservation to someone else or move to another retreat at a later date.
