This is a great opportunity to paint in the heart of Columbus to fit the theme of the OPAS exhibition this year:
Urban Scenes: Ohio En Plein Air an Ohio Plein Air Society juried exhibition. Exhibition Dates: July 24 - August 29, 2026
The Jefferson Avenue Historic District is a historic district in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and the Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 1983. The site includes approximately 12 buildings regarded for their history and architecture, including the Thurber House. The district centers around a park with a gazebo and the buildings are primarily occupied by nonprofit offices.
There is ample street parking. Jefferson Ave Center will have their facility available to us for restrooms. There are a few lunch options nearby. A light breakfast will be provided.

Show and tell at the end of the day: 12:30 at the gazebo
