A competitive exhibition for local adult professional artists, shown at the Capital Arts Gallery.Exhibit Information:
This is a public exhibition for professional artists. Please review the following to determine if you are eligible to enter…
A. Anyone who has earned an art degree in any area of art from a college, university, or accredited art school, or
B. Anyone who earns at least 50% of his/her yearly income from artwork, or
C. Anyone who teaches art classes for reimbursement, or
D. Anyone attending graduate school in art.
E. Anyone who considers themselves a professional artist. (Once professional always professional)
The purpose of this show is to provide an opportunity for artists to show and promote their art to the public in a professional venue. This is a family-oriented event. A qualified judge will award ribbons. Cash awards are: Best of Show -$125, 1st Place-$100, Second Place-$75, Third Place-$50. In addition, Honorable Mention awards will be given at the judge’s discretion. Winners will be announced on the JCAC and CAG websites and or Facebook pages to the public. Gallery visitors can also vote on their favorite artwork by casting a ballot for the “People’s Choice” award.
