High school students, grab your wind instruments and join T.A.D. of Jazz for a free jazz workshop covering basic concepts through improvisation. This one-hour workshop is completely free, but don't forget to bring your wind instrument!Students who register will also qualify to purchase a special discounted ticket to the dinner concert, An Evening of Jazz, immediately following the workshop.
Since the band's inception in 2007, T.A.D. of Jazz has quickly become a leader in the contemporary and smooth jazz realm. With a unique mixture of soul, gospel, jazz. and funk roots, the band produces a sound quite different than any other of its kind. Saxophonist, Ruben Mitchell and trumpeter Tyson Hall will be leading this workshop.
