Join the JSU Field School on the 1st Friday and 3rd Saturday of each month, with occasional additional dates, for guided hikes through the Little River National Preserve, exploring local plants, animals, and the natural history of the area.Come learn about Animals of Alabama as the JSU Field School and National Park Service walk to Little River Falls on the Bridge Trail or join us at the Little River Falls Falls viewing platform at 11:00 am to join the discussion. The hike will be 1.5 miles round trip.
Weather Notice: As with all outdoor programs, hikes may be canceled due to rain, storms, or unsafe trail conditions. If weather is questionable, please check with the Canyon Center before attending.
