We'll read through jazz arrangements of varying levels of difficulty, led by Dr. Emmett Goods, director of Jazz Studies at the University of Rhode Island. Expand your library with new and wonderful charts composed by women, and empower female jazz musicians at your school! Have questions about how to teach jazz concepts, or how to recruit and retain female students? Bring those too. Participants (whether playing notes or taking notes) earn 1.5 PLUs.
