About this Event
Jazz & Journaling is a free daytime gathering that invites participants to slow down, reflect, and connect with Philadelphia’s jazz legacy through creative practice.
During this guided session, participants will explore a gentle journaling process using paper-based art, prompts, and reflection exercises designed to encourage mindfulness and creative expression. As participants create, they will listen to a curated journey through Philadelphia’s jazz lineage, highlighting influential artists and recordings across generations.
This program is an ideal daytime reset for those looking to step away from their screens, recalibrate, and take a creative break in the middle of the day while being in community with others.
All materials will be provided, and no prior art or journaling experience is required.
Light snacks will be made available, and participants are welcome to bring lunch.
