The Salisbury Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is proud to present an unforgettable celebration honoring the rich legacy of jazz and its enduring connection to the Black American experience.
Guests will enjoy a delicious brunch buffet, live entertainment, and dancing in the elegant Heritage Room in downtown Salisbury. This special afternoon will highlight the soulful sounds, vibrant history, and cultural influence of jazz.
Featuring Songstress Kenya Templeton in A Vocal Jazz History: Stomp to Soul, this performance will take guests on a musical journey through the evolution of jazz—from its early roots to the sounds that continue to inspire generations today.
