We’re thrilled to announce that on 11 & 12 April we’re organizing a special end-of-semester workshop weekend! International teachers Alexia Legoueix & Sep Vermeersch will be joining us (yes!!) for a weekend with Jazz & Blues, and we couldn't be more excited, it’s going to be something special 🤗🤗
You can expect a mix of Blues and Jazz concepts such as rhythm, musicality, groove, solo movement, and partner connection. The focus will be on exploring the character, feeling, and improvisational nature of the dance.
The workshops are open level and designed for dancers of different backgrounds and experience levels. Sep & Alexia will choose and adapt the material on the day based on the dancers in the room, so everyone gets something meaningful out of the class.
No previous Blues experience is required. If you have been taking Lindy Hop or Jazz classes and joining socials in your local dance scene for around 6 months or more, you should feel comfortable joining.
No partner required.
