Open dansavond met DJ’s Veshma & Chantal-Joan
Soms is het tijd om het vaste stramien los te laten en ruimte te maken voor iets nieuws.
Met Dance Yourself Free creëren we een open dansavond binnen een bewuste en gedragen setting. Een plek waar je vrij kunt bewegen, de sleur kunt doorbreken en samen met anderen de dans kunt vieren.
Om deze bewuste en gedragen bedding te bewaken, dansen we op blote voeten en is de avond telefoon- en middelenvrij. We openen en sluiten samen in een cirkel, zodat we gezamenlijk het veld kunnen openen, landen en afronden.
De dans staat centraal, maar er is ook ruimte om elkaar te ontmoeten en te socializen. Aan de bar zijn thee, water en kleine snacks verkrijgbaar.
Voor deze avond nodigen we de DJ’s uit om de structuur van een klassieke dansreis los te laten. In plaats daarvan geven zij op een speelse en intuïtieve manier muzikaal vorm aan de avond.
Een uitnodiging om los te komen van het bekende patroon en samen een nieuwe vorm van dansavond te verkennen.
Programma (indicatie)
19:00 – Deuren open
19:35 – Openingscirkel (de deur sluit dus wees op tijd)
19:45 – Start dans
22:15 – Eindcirkel
Praktisch
• Draag comfortabele kleding in laagjes waarin je vrij kunt bewegen. Je zult zweten, dus zorg voor goede hygiëne.
• Wij bieden uitsluitend restitutie van ticketgelden bij annulering van het event door de organisatie. Mocht je niet kunnen deelnemen, dan adviseren wij om je ticket via Ticketswap aan te bieden.
• Laat waardevolle spullen thuis. De dansvloer blijft vrij van telefoons en persoonlijke bezittingen die niet dans-gerelateerd zijn.
• Deelname is volledig op eigen risico. Wij doen er alles aan om een veilige omgeving te faciliteren.
• Wij verzorgen gedurende de avond water, thee en snacks.
Locatie
We dansen in Het Ruweel in Malberg, Maastricht. Een fijne plek met alle benodigde voorzieningen.
Er is een grote gratis parkeerplaats vóór de ingang en een bushalte voor de deur.

Open Dance Evening with DJ’s Veshma & Chantal-Joan
Sometimes it’s time to step out of the usual rhythm and make space for something new.
With Dance Yourself Free we create an open dance evening within a conscious and supportive setting. A space where you can move freely, break out of routine, and celebrate dance together with others.
To support this intentional and grounded space, we dance barefoot and the evening is free from phones and substances. We begin and close the evening together in a circle, allowing us to arrive, open the space, and complete the experience as a group.
Dance is at the heart of the evening, while there is also space to meet each other and socialize. Tea, water and small snacks will be available at the bar.
For this edition we invite the DJ’s to let go of the traditional structure of a dance journey. Instead, they will shape the evening musically in a playful and intuitive way.
An invitation to step outside the familiar format and explore a new way of gathering on the dance floor.

Practical information
• Wear comfortable clothing in layers that allow you to move freely. You will likely sweat, so please come with good hygiene.
• Refunds are only provided if the event is cancelled by the organization. If you cannot attend, we recommend offering your ticket via Ticketswap.
• Please leave valuables at home. The dance floor remains free of phones and personal belongings that are not related to dancing.
• Participation is entirely at your own risk. We do our best to facilitate a safe and supportive environment.
• Water, tea and snacks will be available throughout the evening.

We dance at Het Ruweel in Malberg, Maastricht — a beautiful space with all necessary facilities.
There is a large free parking area in front of the entrance and a bus stop directly outside the venue.
Please use the large parking lot and avoid parking in the surrounding streets.
