Join the musical madman Jason “Gote” VanDeMaat Thursday 9/25/25 at Feelgood Farms, Osteen for “Wake me up when September ends: a love letter to Green Day.”
California punk trio, Green Day have been spreading joy (and a lot of ruckus) since the late 1980s and hold a special place in the hearts of music fans the world over.
For me, their music was easy for me to absorb and use as a means to communicate musically with my teenage peers. From the punk anthems of “Dookie”, the jaded brilliance of “Nimrod” and on to the curiously operatic “American Idiot”; the albums of Green Day - and the songs of Billy Joel Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool - occupy an important place in my musical upbringing. I’m excited to be able to share this with everyone. Remember, nice guys finish last. See you there, guys.
