About this Event
Join us for the first WomenRISE of 2025: The Importance of Bookkeeping with Kim Arney of BbK Services 556.
In this session, you will learn the importance of keeping your books accurate for tax purposes and knowing the health of your business.
Our motto: "If you don't know your NUMBERS, you don't know your BUSINESS."
Everyone will receive the Zoom link regardless of how you register. Please do not register for both in-person and virtual.
In-Person Attendance
In-person events will be held at Texas Woman's University, Denton Campus, 1210 Old Main Circle, Old Main Building, 2nd Floor, Rm 257.
Breakfast will be served at 7:30 AM. The official program starts at 8:00 AM. Come and network with other female entrepreneurs. Make sure you bring your business cards.
*It is a walk between the two parking areas and the Old Main Building. You may consider wearing comfortable shoes to walk in and bring your dress shoes for the event.
The venue is accessible, and an elevator is available.

* For the event, please park on the 4th level of the parking garage located on Oakland St.
* Parking is FREE for the duration of the event only! The parking code will be included in your event confirmation.

Online Attendance
If you are attending online, you will receive the Zoom link to join. We will have an online host to help facilitate the event. We will continue to have pre/post-networking opportunities.
Networking before the event: 7:35-7:55 am
Networking after the event: 9:05-9:25 am
Official program: 8:00 - 9:00 am

Speaker Bio
Kim is the founder and owner of BbK Services 556 and has nearly 30 years of experience as an on-site and remote bookkeeper and payroll professional. Kim has kept books for private enterprises, non-profits, and individuals in industries ranging from healthcare and government to landscaping, construction, law, manufacturing, retail, and real estate. She takes pride in developing an efficient, informative, and collaborative approach to her clients' finances to help them reach their goals. Kim earned her BS in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Central State University. Kim also teaches QBO in conjunction with Texas Woman's University - Center for Women Entrepreneurs program and an Adjunct Professor at North Central Texas College.
