Discover the heartbeat of Lindy Hop with this series focused on its two most iconic moves — the Swing Out and the Circle! Lisa and Brad will lead you through the technique, rhythm, and joyful energy that bring these classics to life.You’ll strengthen your 8-count footwork and explore the connection, momentum, and flow that make swing outs feel so exhilarating. Whether you’re polishing what you already know or diving in for the very first time, this class will boost your confidence and sharpen your skills. 🎶
✨ We encourage dancers to take this series more than once — each round offers new “aha” moments and deeper refinement. Even seasoned Lindy Hoppers will find it a great opportunity to tune up fundamentals and reconnect with the roots of the dance.
Prerequisite: 2–5 months of beginning swing (or instructor approval). You should feel comfortable with triple steps, basic partner connection, and common moves such as the underarm pass or tuck turn. Your class fee includes free admission to our Practice Dance that starts at 8pm right after class! Let’s practice those new moves!
Class run from 6pm-7pm, every Tuesday
This is a series class. Please plan to come the whole month!
Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure time for parking and shoe changing.
Please bring clean shoes that won’t track in grit or leave black heel marks.
Parking is limited; plan to park on nearby streets and walk to the North Star Hall at 20 Crowley Street.
