In this class, you’ll learn the foundations of swing dancing with your experienced teachers, Cate and Terry.You’ll practice 6-count footwork, explore lead-and-follow connection, and discover how to communicate effortlessly with your partner on the dance floor.
This class is perfect for beginners — whether you’ve danced a little or not at all — and no partner is necessary! Every month the beginning swing series includes different moves, so returning students can keep learning and growing, too. 🌟
Your class fee includes free admission to our Practice Dance that starts at 8pm right after class! Let’s practice those new moves!
Class run from 7pm-8pm, every Tuesday
This is a series class. Please plan to come the whole month!
Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure time for parking and shoe changing.
Please bring clean shoes that won’t track in grit or leave black heel marks.
Parking is limited; plan to park on nearby streets and walk to the North Star Hall at 20 Crowley Street.
