Divine Feminine: Awakening the Goddess Within

Ocean Mother: Flowing with Yemanja's Tides

A Women's Circle Half-Day Retreat

What if you could remember how to flow like water around life's obstacles instead of crashing against them? What would it feel like to be held by a love so vast and unconditional that every part of you could finally exhale and be received exactly as you are?

This evening is for you if you've been carrying the weight of caring for everyone else while forgetting to nurture yourself. It's for women who feel drawn to the ocean's wisdom, who sense that something healing about water that goes deeper than we've been taught.

EMBRACING YEMANJA: THE GREAT MOTHER OF THE SEAS

Saturday 27th September, 2025 | 4:00 PM - 9:30 PM

The Call of the Ocean Mother

Yemanja calls to us from the depths of the Atlantic, her voice carried on every wave that touches the shore. Known as the Mother of All Waters, she represents the primordial feminine - that vast, nurturing force that gives life and receives all things back into herself without judgment.

In a world that has forgotten the art of deep nourishment, where we've been taught to give until we're empty, Yemanja offers us a different way. She shows us how to be both powerful and receptive, how to flow around obstacles while maintaining our essential nature, how to mother others from an overflowing well rather than from depletion.

Through her oceanic wisdom, we explore:

The art of emotional fluidity - moving through feelings without being overwhelmed by them Boundaries that breathe like tides - firm yet flexible, protective yet permeable Maternal power that nurtures without depleting The healing capacity of unconditional witnessing and acceptance How to cleanse and release what no longer serves us Connecting with the ancient mother wisdom that lives in our bodies

How the Waters Will Carry Us

Our evening together will flow like the tides themselves - moments of gathering energy followed by deep release, times of active creation balanced with receptive stillness.

Ocean Stories - We'll immerse ourselves in Yemanja's mythology, exploring how her wisdom speaks to our modern lives as women navigating the currents of family, work, and personal growth.

Water Blessing Ceremony - Using sacred waters from different sources, we'll create a cleansing ritual that honours both what we're releasing and what we're calling in, connecting with Yemanja's power to wash away what no longer serves.

Ocean Painting Meditation - Using the ancient wet-on-wet watercolor technique, we'll allow blues and greens to flow and merge on paper, creating our own oceanic landscapes. No artistic experience needed - this is about surrendering to the water's natural movement and discovering what emerges when we stop trying to control the outcome, much like Yemanja herself teaches us.

Sharing Tides - In our circle, we'll practice Yemanja's gift of deep listening - the kind of presence that allows others to pour out their truth without fear of judgment or the need to be fixed.

Oceanic Feast - We'll share foods that honour the sea and her abundance, remembering that nourishment is a sacred act of self-care and community building.

Shell Blessing - Each woman will receive a shell blessed in our circle to carry Yemanja's protective and nurturing energy with her.

Who These Waters Call

This circle flows toward women who feel both drawn to and overwhelmed by their caring nature. Perhaps you're someone who gives so naturally that you've forgotten how to receive, or maybe you're learning to mother yourself after years of seeking that nurturing from others.

You might be in a season of transition, feeling like you're swimming in unfamiliar waters and needing to remember your own buoyancy. Or perhaps you're called to heal your relationship with your own mother or mothering, wanting to find a way to nurture that feels authentic and sustainable.

If you've ever stood at the ocean's edge and felt something ancient stir within you, if you're ready to learn the difference between being overwhelmed by emotions and flowing with them, this gathering is meant for you.

My Journey with the Waters

Over my 25 years of working with women's bodies and nervous systems, I've witnessed how we often hold ourselves rigid against life's waves, creating tension patterns that keep us stuck in fight or flight. My work with primitive reflex integration taught me that our bodies remember how to flow - we just need the right conditions to access that innate wisdom.

Working with Yemanja's archetype has shown me that true strength isn't about being unmovable like a rock, but about being like water - able to adapt, to cleanse, to nourish, and to carve new pathways when the old ones no longer serve. The nervous system, like the ocean, has its own natural rhythms of activation and rest, and when we learn to honour these cycles, everything changes.

In our Goddess Circles, I've watched women remember their own oceanic nature - that capacity to be both powerful and gentle, to hold vast depths while maintaining surface calm, to be the source of life-giving nourishment without depleting themselves.

This is Yemanja's gift to us - the remembering that we are not just drops in the ocean, but that the entire ocean lives within each of us.

About Your Guide

Like many women on this path, my journey has been one of transformation—from struggle to empowerment, from anxiety to inner peace. For over 25 years, I've dedicated myself to understanding how our bodies hold both our deepest tensions and their own innate wisdom for healing.

My path began with traditional yoga teaching, but something always felt incomplete. Despite my training, I noticed my own body stubbornly holding tension, particularly around my breath and diaphragm. It wasn't until a profound experience with Primitive Reflex integration that I discovered what was missing.

This revelation transformed not only my personal experience of anxiety but also my entire approach to helping women. I discovered that true healing isn't about managing symptoms but about helping the body remember its natural state of calm—much like the goddesses remember their divine nature throughout their mythic journeys.

What makes my approach to the Goddess Circles unique is the integration of ancient wisdom with embodied understanding—honouring both the archetypal and the physical aspects of feminine healing. I believe that when we work with these powerful goddess archetypes, we not only connect with their stories but also reconnect with our own true essence.

Today, I help women worldwide break free from limiting patterns so they can embrace their full potential with confidence and joy. These Goddess Circles extend beyond storytelling to a profound remembering—guiding each woman back to the divine feminine wisdom that has always lived within her.

I invite you to join me on this journey of transformation, where the ancient goddesses become mirrors for our modern lives, and where mythology becomes a pathway to remembering your own sacred nature.
