Start the New Year off right with a JCI Kootenay chapter meeting at 7:00 p.m., followed by a presentation on goal setting from Rick Jensen at 8:00 p.m.! Open to all members and prospective members!
Rick has significantly contributed to the region's development through his extensive experience in business and public service. In 1978, he founded New Dawn Developments, a family-owned construction and development company that has played a pivotal role in building communities across the East Kootenay region.
Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavors, Rick has held notable leadership positions, including serving as the Mayor of Cranbrook from 1984 to 1990, and as Chair of the Columbia Basin Trust Board of Directors from 2016 to 2019.
His commitment to community development is further exemplified by the establishment of the Rick & Marg Jensen Family Foundation, which supports educational initiatives in the trades.
