What better way to start the new year with the Las Vegas Celtic Society Book Club than by celebrating the poetry of Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns? This month, we will each choose a Robert Burns poem to recite to our group - with or without a Scottish accent - your choice! (If you prefer not to recite the poem you have chosen, our book club chair, Beverly, will recite it on your behalf.) Please send the name of the poem you have chosen to [email protected] on or before January 18th so that Beverly can make sure we do not duplicate poems. Let’s be adventurous and have some fun celebrating this beloved Celtic poet! Slàinte!
We will meet on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 6p-8p at McMullan’s Irish Pub in the Victorian Room. We hope to see you there!
Our space at the pub has been reserved in advance, so please do RSVP at [email protected] so we can make sure everyone is comfortable.
The Celtic Society Book Club is open to all interested, even if you don’t have time to finish the book! All are welcome to come share in the conversation and camaraderie.
