We can announce that, fresh from supporting legendary Bluesman Eric Bibb on his UK tour, singer-songwriter Janileigh Cohen will be joining us in the shop for a live instore from 6pm on Thursday 30th April.Janileigh's music has evolved from songs written in a shed at the bottom of her grandmother's garden in rural Lancashire, inspired by Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell, through to the release of her upcoming debut album, 'As a Child', recorded with an array of stellar musicians from Manchester to Nashville. Along the way her interpretations of Nick Cave and Jackson C. Frank have been synced to acclaimed dramas including US Emmy winner 'This Is Us'.
'As a Child' is released through Spirit Records on CD and vinyl on 11th March. Entry to the instore is FREE but please RSVP if you'd like to come along or pre-order a copy of the album from us to guarantee your place.
