TYPAN
Typan! A hard rock band hailing from Bristol, UK.
Typan aim is to truly capture the vibe and spirit of classic rock whilst reflecting the state of the art today. Major influences include Judas Priest, Whitesnake and Van Halen.
Typan has won the hearts and minds of the local rock cognoscenti in the South West of England and Wales, playing time and again in well regarded venues like The Fleece and at growing festivals like Keynsham Music Festival. Most recently we supported veteran heavy metallers Anvil on their Frome date of the 2024 tour and played at Hard Rock Hell in November 2025.
Founded in 2016, we have slowly but surely carved out a reputation as an energetic and dependable live band. Our showmanship and passion is evident at every show we play. We aim to excite, delight and empower - and on this we always deliver!
DEADLIGHT DANCE
Deadlight Dance are a musical duo based in Wiltshire, England. Comprising of Nick Fletcher and Tim Emery, the pair first met at Sixth Form in 1989. Having initially played together in a Sixth Form Goth band (as was so often the way at the time), they remained friends, periodically playing music together and supporting each other’s musical ventures. In 2020, the world went on hold as Covid-19 took over and a seed was planted to work together again. It was initially going to be just one session but it kept growing. Fast forward to 2025, Deadlight Dance have had their music streamed in over 75 countries. They have 2 albums, an EP, a standalone single and numerous videos to their name. They are release their music through Ray Records and regularly collaborate with the indie filmmaker, Haunting the Atom.
A third album is planned for March 2026, with teaser track "Gloss" out now!...
RIBBLE
Two Northern men, a fiddle, a guitar, and a large beard. So far, so what? Well, add in a 90s drum synth, some mighty arrangements of meaty fiddle tunes, some songs, some wrong turns, battle scars earned busking the streets of Salisbury, a barrowload of end-of-the-pier banter and the feeling that your mad rum-soaked uncle is roaring at you to dance on the tables, then you’re getting close to what Ribble is about.
Averaging over 80 gigs a year, these splendid gentlemen have been invited to play Boomtown, Purbeck Folk, Victorious, Rustic Stomp, New Forest Folk, Wimborne Folkie, Wessex Folkie amongst many other festivals, and have been main support to some serious names on the circuit including Andy Cutting, Mad Dog Mcrea, Man the Lifeboats, Gerry Colvin and many more.
For those of you of a more delicate or sophisticated nature, please rest assured we can reign in our more feral impulses to produce a smooth background sound for your wedding or garden party. A quick perusal of the list of previous dates will show how much experience we have built up across a range of engagements - corporate events, private parties and all aspects of weddings (we behave ourselves whilst playing the bride down the aisle, we read the room and provide appropriate background music during the drinks reception, and we tear it up in the evening do!)
THE TREE SHREWS
The Tree Shrews are a 3 piece Grunk band (grungy/funky/bluesy)
CAR DIA
Susan Marie Paramor (Car Dia) is a weaver of songs of the land from an early age, singing and creating poetry in song. Aged eleven, she was Head of the Dhekelia Cathedral Choir in Cyprus after which she went on to sing opera, jazz, musical theatre and folk. Lead singer in jazz band ‘Get Wise’ while, at the same time, taking on roles in theatre, film and on television. More recently she has performed with her bands ‘Morgana’ and ‘Car Dia’
BARDIC JIM
Jim Saunders, Is a Pagan Singer and Songwriter who has been a fixture of the Pagan Music scene around Avebury for what is now over 30 years. He is the current Arch Druid of Avebury (masculine aspect) and is the creator and host of the Beltaine Bardic Bash.
STEVE MERCY
Steve Mercy has established himself as an accomplished and original solo artist. Aside from his solo album released in 2018, he has released albums worldwide with bands Omega (featuring members of Bob Catley, Shy and Paradise Lost), Holy Rage (featuring Judas Priest founder Al Atkins), Cauda Pavonis, Louise Patricia Crane (featuring members of Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Kyuss and The Eden House) and as frontman of Midlands gothic metal band Abigail’s Mercy.
He has shared the stage with Levellers, Ricky Warwick & Damon Johnson (Thin Lizzy / Black Star Riders), Blaze Bayley (Iron Maiden), Toyah, Dogs D'amour, Quireboys, The Wildhearts and Steve Harris British Lion (Iron Maiden), to name but a few.
He is also the bassist in The Eden House, Cauda Pavonis and, Typan.
GORDON RIMES
Gordon Rimes has done it all. From running Covent Garden to making balloon animals for Royals. This One Man Band has done it all. His repertoire of old and sometimes obscure folk songs means there is something for everyone. You never know what you might get!
GAIL FOSTER
Gail Foster (Gail from Devizes) has been writing for and reading at the Gorsedd of Caer Abiri for nearly ten years now. During that time she's written some truly dreadful poetry and brought out more books than anyone ever wanted to buy, but also she's been on BBC radio, had her work included in obscure anthologies, been honoured to write for weddings and funerals, delighted to be able to have a pop at politicians, and happy to have made people chuckle about stuff. Gail likes to write in traditional forms and is snobby about sonnets, but it's all good. Well, some of it is.
