Comics for the Night:
Host Druseph Yeti is originally from the Midwest and now performs on stages across the region. He has become a crowd favorite for his off-beat humor and relatable takes on life, work, relationships, and whatever else spirals out of his brain mid-set. Druseph is often known as one of the nicest guys in comedy.
Special 815 COMEDY FEST Open Mic Winner: TBD on August 13th
Guest Feature Erica Switzer, as showcased on Roast Battle Chicago, Las Locas Comedy, and Hot 5, Erica is "your bougie jet-setting auntie who twerks to NPR." Co-founder of Shanghai’s Blackout Comedy and the founder of Hei Now Comedy, Erica became the first Black comedian (and future Gen-A Jeopardy answer) to perform in Mongolia at the 2019 Silk Road International Comedy Festival. Erica's talent has graced stages alongside renowned comedians such as The Comedy Cellar's Simeon Goodson, Laugh Factory's Mateen Stewart, and America's Got Talent's Justin Rivera. Notably, she secured victory as the 2020 Flappers Comedy Club Soup-or-Bowl winner. Her festival credits include the World Series of Comedy, Laugh Riot Grrrl Festival, and the Burbank Comedy Festival's Best of Fest. Other festival appearances include Chicago's World Comedy Expo ('22) and NYC’s Black Women in Comedy Laff Fest ('22 & '23), producing "Erica Switzer & Friends" at the latter in 2023.
Main Feature Laura Hugg is a nationally touring stand up, improv & sketch comedian based in Chicago IL. She’s a midwestern, middle class, Gen X, punk rocker, with a quick wit, and a darkly optimistic point of view.
Headliner Jeffery “Comic Just Jeff” Hall isn’t your average comedian—he’s a single dad with a mic, a sharp wit, and zero fear of telling it like it is. Based in the Chicagoland area, Jeffery hit the stage in 2018 and has been turning his everyday life—especially the wild ride of fatherhood—into comedy gold ever since. His style is smart, raw, and relatable. Whether he's roasting life's curveballs or digging into the messiness of parenting, Jeffery brings a mix of clever insight and "realness" that hits home. As a versatile producer, he works on the decade-long suburban showcase "Still Not Friday" and has produced The "It Ain't My Fault" Comedy Show since 2019. This high-energy showcase has toured multiple states, drawing crowds hungry for authentic laughs. Jeffery has opened for industry legends including George Willborn, Damon Williams, Diane Corder, Flame Monroe, Shawn Morgan, and B Cole. You might’ve caught him at iconic venues like The Laugh Factory (Chicago and Hollywood), Zanies, The Comedy Chateau, Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club, and The Den Theatre, or at packed shows across L.A., Vegas, and throughout the Midwest.
