In 1968, Jane Elliott, a teacher in rural Iowa, led her all-white third-grade class through a controversial lesson in discrimination that launched her into the national spotlight. Now in her 90s, she has spent a lifetime speaking about racism, power and responsibility. With unprecedented access to her life, family and archives, this documentary tracks her influence and impact and serves as a call to action for those who will continue the fight when she is gone.
Join the Lexington Lyceum and the Lexington Observer for a screening of this important film, followed by a facilitated discussion.
