Reminder for tomorrows meeting. It is going to be a social meeting that had to be cancelled in December.
It will be at the same location (Franklin Center) and the same time (7 pm)
If you can, please bring an appetizer or dessert for a dozen servings. This guarantees that we have far more food than we need. I'll bring drinks and Cups for all.
Also, we will have a Dirty Santa/White Elephant Gift Exchange. If you want to participate, bring a "gift" for the exchange. We recommend a look through your radio spare/junkyard for something special. Ideas? 5 year pile of old QSTs, bag of old ferrites, unbuilt 4:1 balun kit, whatever you find.
Rules of the exchange are simple. Everyone gets a number. Number 1 has to select from the unwrapped pile of presents. For every number but the first, you have a choice: take a wrapped present or steal an unwrapped present from the person holding it. A gift may be stolen a maximum of 3 times. If you have a gift stolen from you, you can steal or pick a wrapped gift from the pile. When the person holding the last number has picked a gift, then the person holding number 1 has the option to steal a gift, giving the gift he is holding to the person that he steals from. The exchange is then over.
