Community meeting - Zoning Ordinance Rewrite/Data Centers

Please join us on Sunday, November 8, from 3-5 pm at the old Woodmen of the World Building at 55 Woodman Road, Rocky Mount.
This meeting will focus on the current edits to the Berkley Zoning Ordinance Draft that the county is working on.
You may remember all the changes that were proposed in that draft.
We will update you on what is going on with these edits and what we need to do to have data center safeguards considered NOW.
We will also have a petition ready for you to sign, if you wish, to encourage the county to focus on an amendment to the CURRENT ZONING Ordinance NOW to put these data center safeguards in place.
